A 1mm endoscope is available to view the upper airway in horses, ponies, and foals. Additional equipment allows us to biopsy abnormalities, and to retrieve foreign bodies. This scope also provides us the view necessary to access the guttural pouches for flushing, or culturing. This scope can reach the stomachs of miniature horses and foals to check for ulcers |
